Memories of Beaverton's Sichuan Cuisine Are Back - Taste of Sichuan

📍 16261 NW Cornell Rd, Beaverton, OR 97006 (Formerly Four Seasons) I had visited Four Seasons a few times before it closed. My impression was that it was a decent, reliable Chinese restaurant. Since it had been around for many years, some of my Chinese friends who have lived here longer would immediately think of Four Seasons whenever Sichuan cuisine was mentioned. This shows that the restaurant truly held a special place in Beaverton. Today, I met up with friends for a meal here. We arrived around 11:20 AM to line up (they open at 11:30 AM) and were seated by 11:33 AM. It was so crowded! As my friend 🐒 said, "They're here for the memories!" Here’s what we ordered: 🌟 Steamed Fish with Chopped Chilies The flavor was rich! The fish, chilies, pickled vegetables, and green beans were stir-fried to perfection—very fragrant and perfect with rice. 🌟 Dry-Fried Green Beans A solid, classic dish. The portion was generous and satisfying. 🌟 Camphor Tea-Smoked Duck Though not an authentic Sichuan-style version, it was delicious, and the duck was tender. 🌟 Scallion Pancake This was a pleasant surprise! Crispy and tasty. 🌟 Ants Climbing a Tree Well, this dish was different from what we expected... If it were renamed "Pickled Vegetable & Pepper Glass Noodles," it would be more fitting. The flavor was great, sufficiently spicy, and also perfect with rice! Overall, the food was quite good. Despite the crowd, ordering and service were quick. When we left, the entrance was still packed with people waiting—it’s seriously popular! 🔥 While eating and chatting, I recalled a meal here with college friends about eight years ago. Thinking about it now, 🐒 was right! It really was a taste of nostalgia. Menu attached below. Price per person: $20+ (Lunch is so affordable! I’ll have to try it next time.) #BeavertonFoodExploration #BeavertonEats #BeavertonSichuanCuisine #FourSeasons #Portland #PortlandFood #PortlandExploration #WeekendInPortland #PortlandFoodie #AroundPortland
