Memphis Food Discovery | Petals of A Peony ๐ŸŽ‹โœจ

While visiting Memphis, I noticed there arenโ€™t many Asian food options, but I was still craving Chinese food! ๐Ÿฅข After searching online, I found this place called Petals of A Peony โ€” the Sichuan dishes looked pretty authentic, so I decided to give it a try. They say you can tell if a Sichuan restaurant is authentic by their Kung Pao Chicken ๐Ÿ—. And honestly, it was pretty good! Flavorful and perfect with rice โ€” definitely not your typical Westernized Chinese takeout. โœ… As a devoted offal lover, I also ordered the Spicy Stir-Fried Pork Intestines ๐ŸŒถ๏ธ๐Ÿ– โ€” absolutely loved it! Later, I noticed that their Mao Xue Wang (blood curd and chili stew) also had intestinesโ€ฆ so it was an intestine-filled night! ๐Ÿ˜† Meanwhile, the kids devoured the Yangzhou Fried Rice โ€” they finished two bowls as soon as it was served! ๐Ÿš๐Ÿ‘ฆ๐Ÿ‘ง The restaurant has a really nice atmosphere with modern decor. ๐Ÿฎ Today also happened to be my birthday, and they surprised me with a complimentary mini birthday cake! ๐ŸŽ‚๐Ÿฐ Honestly, the dessert was so good that even though I was already full, I finished the whole thing ๐Ÿ˜‹. I heard that leaving a review now might get you a free dessert too! All in all, finding good Chinese food in Memphis is rare, so Petals of A Peony is definitely worth a try! ๐Ÿ‘ Plus, thereโ€™s free parking right next to the restaurant โ€” super convenient. ๐Ÿ…ฟ๏ธ #Travel #FoodDiscovery #FoodShare #Memphis #Tennessee #LifeInNorthAmerica
