Memphis Food Discovery | Petals of A Peony ๐โจ
While visiting Memphis, I noticed there arenโt many Asian food options, but I was still craving Chinese food! ๐ฅข After searching online, I found this place called Petals of A Peony โ the Sichuan dishes looked pretty authentic, so I decided to give it a try. They say you can tell if a Sichuan restaurant is authentic by their Kung Pao Chicken ๐. And honestly, it was pretty good! Flavorful and perfect with rice โ definitely not your typical Westernized Chinese takeout. โ As a devoted offal lover, I also ordered the Spicy Stir-Fried Pork Intestines ๐ถ๏ธ๐ โ absolutely loved it! Later, I noticed that their Mao Xue Wang (blood curd and chili stew) also had intestinesโฆ so it was an intestine-filled night! ๐ Meanwhile, the kids devoured the Yangzhou Fried Rice โ they finished two bowls as soon as it was served! ๐๐ฆ๐ง The restaurant has a really nice atmosphere with modern decor. ๐ฎ Today also happened to be my birthday, and they surprised me with a complimentary mini birthday cake! ๐๐ฐ Honestly, the dessert was so good that even though I was already full, I finished the whole thing ๐. I heard that leaving a review now might get you a free dessert too! All in all, finding good Chinese food in Memphis is rare, so Petals of A Peony is definitely worth a try! ๐ Plus, thereโs free parking right next to the restaurant โ super convenient. ๐ ฟ๏ธ #Travel #FoodDiscovery #FoodShare #Memphis #Tennessee #LifeInNorthAmerica
