Mexican Flair in the Theater District

🍧Viva Mexico Cantina Grill is arguably my favorite Mexican restaurant within a 50-mile radius! Located right next to the Trinity Repertory Company and the Providence Performing Arts Center, it’s incredibly convenient to stop by after a show. 🍧Though the storefront may be unassuming, stepping inside instantly immerses you in cheerful Mexican music and colorful papel picado banners. 🍷The taco salad is generously portioned, with a base of crispy tortilla chips topped with fresh avocado and black beans for a refreshing taste. 🍷The grilled pork tacos blend savory meat with the sweetness of pineapple, and a squeeze of lime adds a zesty kick. The freshly mixed mango margarita at the bar, with its salt-rimmed glass, strikes a perfect sweet-tart balance. 🍮The walls are adorned with handwoven tapestries, and each table is covered with vibrant traditional cloth. 🍮 The waitstaff gladly explain how to pair three different types of hot sauce with various dishes—the spiciest habanero sauce has a lingering kick. #AuthenticMexicanCuisine #TheaterDistrict #Providence
