⏰ Timings: 15:00-18:00, 3 hours Cost: Transportation + entrance fee + jeep (chartered) $80 per person, driver's tip 1000 rupees ————————— As the first stop of our Sri Lanka trip, the experience was quite good. 🛻 At 3 PM, there were quite a few vehicles entering, and the road conditions were poor with many puddles. For the first hour and a half, we didn't see much, just a lot of swaying around for 1.5 hours and it was a bit sunny. There is a small hill in the middle where you can climb up for a panoramic view. After descending, we encountered quite a few elephants. The driver was quite professional, chasing the next close encounter point based on the elephants' movement, not just blindly following the crowd.
