Montreal's Chinatown is an International Student's Paradise!
🍲 Happy Lamb Hot Pot (~$40pp) Choose à la carte or all-you-can-eat. Meat/veggies were fresh (but the "spicy" broth had zero kick). 🍜 Lanzhou Noodles (~$15-30pp) Always crowded! Authentic chewy hand-pulled noodles (portion sizes are HUGE). 🌶️ Yu Meiren (Sichuan Cuisine) (~$20-40pp) Sauerkraut fish was tender and flavorful. Their spicy chicken and frog dishes looked amazing too! 🥟 Sammi & Soupe Dumpling (~$20-30pp) Lines at lunchtime! XLBs were juicy perfection, but wontons (only 4 tiny pieces) weren't worth it. 🍵 Kim Fung (Dim Sum) Endless menu options! Their salted egg yolk buns were chef's kiss. 🧋 Bubble tea/bakeries (Coco, etc.) tasted just like home - pure comfort food! (Note: Not worth a special trip if visiting from China, but heaven for homesick students.) #MTLChinatown #ChineseFood #ComfortFood #InternationalStudentLife
