๐Ÿœ Must-Try Again Thai Restaurant | Madison Food Guide

Thai Basil Iโ€™ve been in Madison for a while but never tried it โ€“ ended up going twice last week! ๐Ÿ› Pad Krapow (Holy Basil Stir-Fry) Perfect for Chinese taste buds โ€“ tastes like stir-fried pork with chili and rice wine. The strongest flavor among all dishes we tried, and super tasty! ๐Ÿ› Crab Fried Rice Generous amount of crab meat โ€“ fragrant and relatively light. ๐Ÿ› Pineapple Fried Rice Loaded with big pineapple chunks and cashews (I felt like there was curry, but no one confirmed ๐Ÿ˜… โ€“ lots of spice notes!). A bit richer than the crab fried rice. ๐Ÿœ Drunken Noodles Highly anticipated since friends recommended it, but the spiciness didnโ€™t blend well with the dish. Still okay though! ๐Ÿ› Seafood Yellow Curry Rice Flavor was good, but seafood portion was small โ€“ supposed to have shrimp, oysters, and squid, but only shrimp were noticeable. ๐Ÿฒ Tom Yum Soup (Coconut Milk Version) Not bad, but the coconut milk tasted a bit off โ€“ sweetness was kinda weird. ๐Ÿข Appetizers Chicken Skewers โ€“ Great with or without dipping sauce ๐Ÿ‘ Sausage โ€“ A bit porky, small portion Fried Squid โ€“ Standard, fresh but small serving ๐Ÿจ Dessert Wanted mango sticky rice, but itโ€™s off-season ๐Ÿ˜ข Coconut Ice Cream โ€“ Delicious! ๐Ÿ˜‹ ๐ŸŒถ๏ธ All main dishes can choose spice level 1-5 Level 2 is already pretty spicy โ€“ choose wisely! Located near Hilldale โ€“ about 10 mins drive from campus. ๐Ÿ“ 3519 University Ave #Madison #ThaiBasil #ThaiFood #UWMadison #FoodReview #SpicyLovers
