Tried Oseyo Shabu-Shabu in Pasadena over the weekend—so cozy and satisfying! Highly recommend~ 🥰 Ordering is simple: each set comes with broth, a veggie platter, udon, and rice. We chose the Kombu broth—light and perfect for cooking meat. Two dipping sauces: a tangy ponzu and a rich, nutty goma (sesame)—both delicious and not heavy at all. Best part? They use proper hot pot pots, not tiny personal ones—so much more comfortable to eat from! 👏 🍖 First Set: Certified All-Natural Angus Prime Beef, plus two extra fish cakes and Australian lamb. The fish cakes soaked up the broth perfectly, and the lamb was tender with no gamey taste. 🥩 Second Set: Certified All-Natural Vintage Prime Ribeye, plus an extra Choice Ribeye—so flavorful and satisfying! We also ordered two snacks: 🧄 Garlic Edamame: Super garlicky and addictive! 🐙 Takoyaki: Crispy outside with chewy octopus inside—so good when hot! The staff were super friendly and attentive! 🧑🍳 The place was packed at lunchtime—lively and fun for a hot pot meal! Ingredients were top-notch: fresh veggies and quality meat.
