🌟 My First Visit – But Definitely Not My Last! ✨

How have I been sleeping on this place all this time? 😍 Seriously – where has The Ellis Hotel been all my Atlanta trips? Let me walk you through what turned out to be one of my happiest hotel surprises ever! 🎟️ From “Sold Out” to “Sold On This Place” I originally planned to stay at one of the main conference hotels – but tickets sold out in under 30 minutes 😱. Panic? A little. But sometimes the best discoveries come from Plan B! I started searching for spots within *“can-my-date-walk-this-in-5-inch-heels”* distance 👠, and that’s when I remembered The Ellis – a known favorite during DragonCon. And wow, am I glad I did! 🏛️ Historic Outside, Fresh & Polished Inside The building itself is a beautiful historic landmark, but step inside and you’re greeted with modern elegance and comfort. It’s the perfect blend of old-world charm and today’s conveniences. 🛏️ That King Bed Though… I scored a corner room with a gorgeous king-size bed – and as someone with a very picky back, I don’t say this lightly: 🛌 It was heavenly. Supportive, soft, and seriously comfortable. I woke up each morning feeling refreshed and ready to conquer the day (or the con!). 🚿 A Shower Worth Writing Home About The shower featured a real Kohler Deluge showerhead 💦 with seemingly endless hot water. After a long day of walking and events, it felt like a spa-like treat. ❄️ Elevators & AC That Actually Work – All Weekend! Unlike some other hotels I’ve stayed in (👀 Courtland Grand), the elevators and AC worked flawlessly the entire weekend – even during peak DragonCon chaos. A true luxury! 🧹 Impeccable Housekeeping My room was cleaned thoroughly and thoughtfully each day. It’s clear the team takes pride in their work. 🥤 Late-Night Snacks & Incredible Staff The front desk team was fantastic all weekend – especially Abien and Sebier! They went out of their way to make sure I felt welcome and cared for. There was also a 24/7 “charge-to-your-room” snack and drink station in the lobby – yes, I paid $4 for a $1.50 Coke 🥤, but the convenience was absolutely unmatched at 2 AM! 💬 Final Verdict The Ellis isn’t just a hotel – it’s an experience.
