My Most-Visited Korean BBQ Spot in LA

Only Downside: Prices Keep Going Up šŸ’øšŸ”„ If you’re in LA, you’ve probably heard of this place—it’s my go-to Korean BBQ spot: šŸ“ Thirsty Cow šŸ“ It’s located in the same plaza as the Rowland Heights Costco. They open at 11 AM, and I always arrive 10 minutes early to line up—so I can get in right when they open! šŸ•ššŸ’Ø Even at lunch, it fills up fast; by the time you finish eating, there’s already a waiting list. Evenings are even busier—so if you don’t want to wait, make sure to arrive before opening! After checking in, you’ll wait a bit while they set up your table. They’ll text you when it’s ready, and a staff member will escort you to your seat. They offer all-you-can-eat with two price tiers—unfortunately, they’ve raised prices multiple times šŸ˜… Now the Premium tier is 49 per person, and the Choice tier is 39. Premium includes more meat options. The meat quality has always been consistent—never disappoints! My top recommendations are beef tongue and rib finger! šŸ‘…šŸ„© Once we ordered the tomahawk steak—it was huge! Better for 4–6 people; for two of us, it was a struggle… we just stared at each other hopelessly by the end šŸ˜‚ So we skipped it this time. Another must-order: the Kimchi Dosirak (shaken kimchi lunchbox?) šŸ± It’s simple but delicious—just rice with Korean spicy sauce, perfect with grilled meat. The staff shakes it up before serving. You can also add grilled octopus to make it a spicy octopus rice bowl! šŸ™šŸš Before paying, the staff will ask what flavor of ice cream you want—a sweet way to end the meal! šŸ¦ šŸ”” Reminder: Always check your bill! A few times, mine had mistakes—like extra drinks charged. Probably just busy mix-ups, but better to double-check! One thing I’ve always wondered: Why do they put onions on the grill? šŸ§… Other places use oil to prevent sticking, but the onions don’t seem to do much… and when they change the grill, they even move the onions to the new one! šŸ¤” Have you been to Thirsty Cow?
