My first time here was not the best because we came around 9:10pm and was able to get a seat without waiting. We ordered our first round and when the meat came my server just dumped all my beef tongue on the grill when the grill was not hot. This caused my beef tongue to be soggy and very tender.. :( We continue cooking other cuts of meat as we order and surprisingly the meat cuts were pretty nice compared to all the other AYCE bbq places out there. Soooooo...
We visit Thirsty Cow almost once every two weeks! We come here for friends gathering, dates, and even just regular dining. We came here mostly for the meat cuts cuz to us thats what matters the most! Instead of trying other places we just stick to Thirsty Cow for ayce bbqs now since their meat quality are by far the best and most consistent. Our most recent visit was on April 7th and we noticed that they changed their menu a little bit. They now have wet and dry aged meats for their Premium option which was a plus for us. More options for Wagyu but they removed their Tomahawk :( They give each person 1 Melona ice cream after you pay so that was pretty nice and cute in my opinion. Their service can be a little messy since they do not offer virtual waitlist or phone reservation. You need to check in at the counter to get a place in line and then wait for your number to be called. Lines are unfortunately pretty long most of the time. We tried visiting at 2:30pm, 3:30pm, 4pm and even 8pm. Usually there's always a 30 minutes minimum wait time. Service provided by their servers varies a lot depending on how busy they are. Sometimes I see my server running around all tables taking care of more than 7 tables at a time and other times I just never see my server anywhere ever. So it depends a little bit on your luck and the days you visit. Either way, definetly give them a try for their meat!!! I believe they also increased their price slightly from what...
Read moreWent around 3 p.m. on a Saturday. The hostess did not even ask how many people were in my party nor did they give me a wait time. I had to find the hostess myself and let her know we were a party of 6. It took forever to finally talk to us and when I asked what was going on she said they were understaffed... she could have at least let us know. Plenty of tables were open and there was hardly anyone waiting. An hour later, we were seated. The waiter explained the two hour seated rule as well as other rules but failed to mention that everyone in the table must pick the same option from all you can eat. We ordered. My boyfriend ordered the prime option and I got the regular option. No problems yet... the food came out for us to cook quickly. We started to cook the brisket and it was pretty much done. We also received our soup options and were about to start eating. The hostess comes unexpectedly and mentions that everyone in the party has to have the same option. We said, okay, we will have the regular option. The hostess then, unapologetically and unembarrassed said she needed to take the food back and that we could not eat it. Keep in mind the soups, meat selections, drinks....I mean EVERYTHING was on the table. One meat was ready to eat. The soups were practically in our mouth. She said "I need to take the food back." The contaminated, out of the kitchen, two selections of meat back........ I sat there in awe. Appalled. Terrible experience. The hostess would rather lose a party of six people than two selections of meat from the prime menu. We got up and left and I will never go back. The hostess needs to be retrained. She is not equipped to deal with stressful situations. Had she addressed the situation politely, perhaps we would've stayed. But, because of her, I am never going back....
Read moreI don’t usually leave negative reviews, but our experience at Thirsty Cow was so disappointing that I feel obligated to share it. We came as a group of six, excited to try the All You Can Eat menu that’s prominently advertised on both their website and the physical menu. According to both, there is a two-hour dining limit — fair enough. However, we were cut off after just one hour (yes, we timed it), with the server stating we had "ordered too much food." This was both confusing and frustrating since the entire premise of All You Can Eat implies exactly that — within the time limit. What made it worse was the terrible service throughout the meal. We had to flag down our server multiple times just to request basic sides and refills, and even then we were often ignored or met with attitude. It felt like we were bothering them by simply participating in the dining experience we were promised. When we politely attempted to show the server the written terms on their own menu, he seemed visibly annoyed and dismissed our concerns entirely. Being told we had "too much food" when we followed the posted rules felt like a bait-and-switch tactic. If there are hidden limits, they need to be disclosed clearly — not sprung on customers mid-meal. This experience felt like a clear breach of contract, and frankly, we believe we are entitled to at least a partial refund. We did not receive the full service, time, or food that was promised. Thirsty Cow needs to address this issue — either by changing their advertising to reflect the true limitations or by retraining their staff to treat customers with basic respect...
