Naoshima Art Tour 🚶♀️ Art Journey in the Seto Inland Sea(3)
[Hiroshi Sugimoto Gallery] 🌿✨This gallery houses an extensive collection of photographs and installation artworks. The admission includes a set of tea and snacks, and sitting in the tea room while enjoying the view outside the floor-to-ceiling windows is part of the experience. 🌇 The long corridor seamlessly connects the indoor and outdoor spaces, and the gift shop at the exit is quite delightful to explore. 🌿✨I must also mention that the restrooms here are exceptionally well-designed. 🌟 [Chichu Art Museum] The entire building gives off a "Squid Game" vibe, or perhaps the TV show took its inspiration from here? 🌇 With its underground spaces, exposed concrete, and numerous right angles, I just can't seem to appreciate Tadao Ando's style. 🌿✨Fortunately, there are Monet's works to enjoy, and Walter de Maria's pieces are quite soothing. The café offers a nice view of Takamatsu Port across the water. 🌇 Photography is strictly prohibited in this museum, and the layout really makes it hard to find good angles. 🌿✨ I looked up some photos online, and they all look much better than what you see with your naked eye, so maybe it's better not to take any. 🌇 #OffbeatTravelExperience #SeasideHikingAndScenery 🌿✨
