NC Food Hunt | Ichiban Chinese Buffet in Greensboro – Unbeatable Value

I found an incredibly cost-effective Chinese buffet in Greensboro called Ichiban Grill Supreme Buffet—weekend lunch is only $17, and you’ll leave stuffed to the brim. It’s a total win for anyone who wants to sample a variety of flavors in one go! 💰 As soon as I walked in, I was amazed by the huge selection of dishes. While the flavors are mostly Americanized (no wonder there are so many Mexican friends here—it’s bustling with energy~), the variety is so wide that it’s hard to know where to start! 🥢 On the left is a fresh salad bar, with all kinds of vegetables paired with different dressings—light and refreshing, perfect for whetting your appetite. The middle section is filled with Chinese-style stir-fries: Kung Pao chicken and sautéed seasonal veggies smell amazing, each bite tasting like familiar home cooking. There’s also steaming hot hot and sour soup—sipping a bowl warms you up from the inside, ideal for starting your meal. The most exciting part is the made-to-order teppanyaki station! Chefs cook right in front of you on a hot griddle—steak and chicken sizzle at high temperatures, and the moment seasonings are sprinkled on, the aroma hits your nose. The freshly cooked food is crispy on the outside and tender on the inside, with a light smoky flavor—you have to eat it while it’s hot to enjoy it fully~🔥 Next to it, the sushi bar and raw seafood section are equally impressive. The neatly arranged sushi rolls look great, with generous portions of salmon and tuna—every bite is packed with fresh seafood flavor. Personally, I highly recommend the steamed shrimp and all kinds of sushi! The steamed shrimp are a good size, with firm, bouncy meat—dip them in a little soy sauce, and they’re delicious, with no complaints about freshness. The sushi rice is perfectly cooked (not too hard, not too soft), and the fish and toppings are well-matched, making every bite satisfying 🍣. The mussels are also worth a try—seasoned just right, letting you taste the natural sweetness of the seafood. However, a heads-up: the crawfish isn’t very fresh, with a soft texture. If you’re particular about freshness, you can skip it to avoid disappointment~ Overall, this buffet is perfect for people who aren’t too fussy and value “variety + great value”! Want to eat salad, stir-fries, teppanyaki, and sushi all in one meal? This is the place~ A friend also said Hibachi China Buffet in Raleigh is at a similar level, so we can check that out next time we’re there! 👏 #NorthCarolina #NC #DailyEats #HotPot #Autumn #Travel
