Near LACMA – Not a Monkey Spot 🐒 (jk)

After visiting LACMA, I dropped by Marlowe Coffee & Eatery. It was super hyped when it first opened, but today—maybe because of the holiday and rain—it wasn’t too crowded. They’re still pushing the Pumpkin Spice seasonal menu, but I’m just not into that classic American pumpkin flavor. ☕️ The Marlowe – The signature drink. Normally comes with cinnamon, but if you’re like me and don’t love heavy spice, you can ask to leave it out. Without cinnamon, it’s much cleaner and fresher. ☕️ Espresso – Solid pull with nice crema and good extraction. Chocolate and nutty notes came through—probably pairs well with cinnamon if you’re into that. 💡 Overall, it’s decent but not mind-blowing—feels more like a reliable, aesthetically pleasing neighborhood spot.
