New Japanese Sushi Place in Houston

🌟This place doesn't feel like a typical conveyor belt sushi restaurant. Each seat has an iPad, and you can order whatever you want, and the conveyor belt will automatically bring it to you. You can also pay via the iPad, which makes it a great spot for introverts! You can order anytime and based on your mood, without having to call a waiter or speak to anyone. 🌟 The variety of fish is decent, and the prices are relatively affordable for a Japanese restaurant. The plates and presentation aren't very fancy. There was a bit of a wait when we arrived, but it wasn't too long. I think you can get quite full for an average of $80 to $100 per person. 🥕The torched small sampler is super cost-effective, and the creamy sauce goes really well with the seared surface. The eel sushi has a great texture. The chawanmushi is similar to the WA style, but it has a yuzu flavor and a much smaller portion. I also ordered udon and fish soup. The udon had a strong katsuobushi (dried bonito flakes) flavor. I haven't had fish soup elsewhere, but I found it quite interesting. 🥕 🍣The soup base is miso-flavored and a bit salty, but the meat on the fish bones has a unique taste with a hint of lemon. Green tea is complimentary. I had three rounds of sea urchin, two rounds of tuna, and the scallops were quite sweet. The silver fish were also pretty good. Overall, it was a satisfying experience.🌟 The service and freshness were both quite good, and there wasn't much to complain about. Since I went at 7 p.m., there was no need to wait in line. 📍 Kaiten Sushi Ginza Onodera Houston 12270 Westheimer Rd, Houston, TX 77077 #HighlyRecommendLocalFood #Houston #Ginza #JapaneseFood #Sushi #Michelin #HoustonEats #JapaneseCuisine
