Piatti already has locations up and down the West Coast, and this spring, theyβve finally opened their newest spot in Laguna Beach, Southern California π€ Not sure if itβs because they just opened, but the service was exceptionally warm and attentive! The interior is stylish and full of character β walls decorated with murals of pasta-making tools π¨π, artistic and fun. Another Laguna restaurant added to my revisit list! β π¦ Wood Roasted Octopus Smoky and aromatic, with generous, chewy chunks of octopus leg. Served with cabbage and king oyster mushrooms β slightly sweet and deeply flavorful. π§ Whipped Ricotta My personal favorite! The ricotta is light, fluffy, and almost tastes like vanilla ice cream π¦ Topped with crushed pistachios and microgreens β ate it like a dessert! π Linguine di Mare Italians have their own version of βclam and cucumber noodlesβ π The clams and cucumber make this dish fresh and savory. We paired it with a glass of Pinot Grigio β a perfect match! π₯ π Spinach & Ricotta Tortellini Rich lemon cream sauce with a subtle cheesy tang.
