New Restaurant Report | Laguna's Italian Spot Worth Revisiting! ✨

Piatti has several locations across the West Coast, and this spring they finally opened a new one in Southern California's Laguna Beach! 🤍 Not sure if it's because they just opened, but the service was exceptionally warm and attentive. The interior has great vibes—the wall murals feature tools used to make pasta, playful and artistic. ✨ Another Laguna restaurant added to my revisit list! + ✨ Wood Roasted Octopus Strong grilled aroma 🐙 The octopus legs are large and satisfyingly chewy. Served with cabbage and king oyster mushrooms, the overall flavor is slightly sweet, complex, and very pleasing. ✨ Whipped Ricotta This was my personal favorite! The ricotta is light and fluffy—almost like vanilla ice cream! 🍨 Topped with crushed pistachios and microgreens for extra texture—it felt like eating dessert! ✨ Linguine di Mare Italians have their own version of "clam and cucumber noodles" 😄 The clams and cucumber make the dish refreshing and delicious 🍝 We paired it with a glass of Pinot Grigio—a perfect match! 🥂 ✨ Spinach & Ricotta Tortellini Rich lemony cream sauce with a slight cheesy tang. I’m not a huge tortellini person, but if you like it, give it a try! 🏠: Piatti 📍: 222 Ocean Ave, Laguna Beach, CA 92651 What’s your favorite Italian dish to order when dining out?
