New Spot Near Irvine|Blind-Order Friendly Halal Restaurant 😭
Sharing a new restaurant near Irvine today—we ordered a whole table of dishes and nothing disappointed! After eating here, I honestly feel it beats 99% of Northwest Chinese restaurants in LA (the remaining 1% is just because I haven’t tried every spot yet 🫢). The restaurant focuses on Halal cuisine, and the chef is from Lanzhou. Even though his accent was a bit hard for me to follow, he was super sweet and even demonstrated hand-pulled noodles live 🍜! I’ve been cutting carbs lately, so it felt amazing to indulge in big meaty dishes. 🐔 Big Plate Chicken with Hand-Pulled Noodles – Huge portion, noodles perfectly chewy. 🐑 Hand-Grabbed Lamb – Well-marbled, no gamey taste, incredible with the dipping sauce. 🍲 Lamb Soup with Flatbread & Spicy Lamb Ribs – Hearty and flavorful. Even my boyfriend, who usually doesn’t like lamb, was won over! We went on a stormy day—after the meal, we felt completely warmed up. They also have Lātiáozi (stir-fried hand-pulled noodles), but since it’s labor-intensive, it’s still a secret menu item 🤫—try your luck asking for it! 🏠 Taibat Noodle House (formerly Tapioca Express) 📍 1441 W MacArthur Blvd, Santa Ana, CA 92704 #IrvineEats #IrvineRestaurants #IrvineLife #IrvineFoodFinds #IrvineTravel #IrvineFoodAndFun
