I recently dined at Omar’s Kitchen and was blown away by the authentic Uyghur cuisine they offer. The flavors are bold and unique, with each dish showcasing a wonderful blend of spices and ingredients that you don’t often find elsewhere. The lamb kebabs were perfectly seasoned and tender, and the hand-pulled noodles had an amazing texture, soaking up the deliciously savory sauce. The atmosphere of the restaurant is warm and inviting, with a décor that reflects the rich cultural heritage of the Uyghur people. The staff were incredibly hospitable and eager to share the story behind the dishes, which added an extra layer of appreciation to the meal. Omar’s Kitchen is a hidden gem that brings a taste of Uyghur culture to life through its food. Whether you're a fan of trying new cuisines or looking for a unique dining experience, this place is definitely worth a visit. I’ll certainly be back to explore more of their menu!

We lovvvvved this restaurant and its recipes. We have been long-time customers of another Halal Chinese Restaurant In Anaheim, CA but for a change, we visited Omar's Kitchen on my Birthday and since then, it is our GoTo. So far we have tried Hot &Sour Soup, Lamb Kabobs, Mongolian Beef, 3 flavors ChowMein, Black Pepper Beef, Hot &Sour Shrimp, Schezwan Beef and Paratha/ flatbread but every recipe is unique😍😍😍😍. We also had the pleasure of learning so much from The host/owner who has a vast knowledge of the Uyghur Turk-based Nation and the restaurant has precious artifacts representing their culture pleasing to the eyes!! The restaurant is kept very neat and clean. I recommend everyone encourage Omar's Kitchen by giving their business to this local eatery during post Pandemic striving times!!!!

I went there when It was named Omar's Kitchen but this time It's different. Taibat's service was quite good than before. I ordered mix chow mein, mix fried rice and kung pao chicken. All item was perfect. They served chicken corn soup as complimentary I think, which I also liked. I have visited so many halal restaurants so I know most of restaurant doesn’t offer any complimentary. They care about customers feedback. They asked if we need anything or everything was good or not so definitely liked their service. Will recommend everyone.

I've never been to the San Gabriel location, but my friends and I came here this past weekend for Sunday dinner.

When we arrived there weren't too many people in the restaurant so we were able to have the place to ourselves almost. Yelp says they take reservations, but when I called, the guy said I didn't need reservations, to just come in.

Since it was our first time there, I asked them for some recommendations. They recommended some lamb dishes, the lamb kabobs, and the big plate chicken with noodles.

Of those recommendations, I loved the cumin lamb ribs that we ordered. It was DELICIOUS! I would give this plate five out of five stars.

Their big plate chicken with noodles were okay. Good, but I am not really a noodles person, so I wasn't attacking it like it was my last meal.

Their lamb kabobs were good but a little dry.

The egg and vegetable fried rice we ordered was pretty good.

Some of my friends thought the service here was a little harsh, but I thought it was fine. They were nice to me.

I would come back. Actually I am coming back. I'm bringing a friend who loves Mas Islamic in Orange County and I wanted to bring him here to try Omar's! Mas by the way is also good, but Omar's is also pretty good too!

Parking: Tons of parking here. It's a huge strip mall with lots of...

I had high expectations for this place, unfortunately I was underwhelmed. Although the food was decent, I would not recommend dining in. I was visiting from 2 hours away, and respected that they were not taking dine in orders so I asked for take out. They had tables outdoor so me and my family took a table so that we could eat there. However, when I was picking up the order, they would not give me cutlery, plates, or bowls for the food or soup, when I requested for to-go options for these things the cashier said that “it was too expensive to give out”. Eventually I was able to persuade her to give me scarce napkins and small paper plates (the small dessert kinds) and me and my family ate our meals on those. We only got 2 paper bowls for the four of us to share. Although this was odd, I accepted that this was their policy and remained respectful and we finished our meal. The food was decent. However, as we were finished up we saw a couple at the table behind us and they were given proper ceramic dining plates with metal cutlery and glasses for their drinks. I was outraged about the discrepancy of service and voiced my complaint to the cashier when she came out to serve them. She ignored me and walked back in. I will not be...

I have been coming here on and off with my family since this restaurant first opened some years ago. I no longer reside in the area, so when I happen to be visiting, I never pass up an opportunity for this incredible food.

Sitting near the corner of a rather nondescript strip mall is easily the best Chinese food in the greater Long Beach metropolitan area. This is a family run operation, so it doesn't get much better than this when it comes to supporting small businesses. Walk inside and you will be delighted - the interior is proudly decorated with symbols of their uighur heritage. True to form, the food is entirely halal so you won't find any pork on the menu. May I recommend the succulent and freshly prepared lamb dumplings dipped in a mix of two parts vinegar one part soy sauce? I've literally not had anything on a menu that I didn't enjoy. I'm partial to the uighur specialties but even their take on Chinese American classics such as Kung Pao chicken, fried rice, and beef and broccoli will leave you wanting more. Five stars, would give it...
