Nha Trang | Must-Visit Off-the-Beaten-Path Attractions Recommend 👉

Beyond Vinpearl Island and the city's seaside, what else is there to do in Nha Trang? Today, I'm introducing two must-visit attractions, perfect for temple enthusiasts. 🏛️🌟 1️⃣ Po Nagar Towers 📍 Ponagar Temple 💰 30,000 VND 🕰 1 hour This ancient Cham Kingdom temple (the central region of ancient Vietnam was ruled by the Cham Kingdom for a long time) was built before 781 AD. The tower is dedicated to the deity Yang Po Nagar in Cham mythology. After the 17th century, when the Vietnamese occupied the Cham region and took over Po Nagar Towers, they renamed it the Temple of the Lady of the Southern Sea, which has continued to this day (it has also integrated many elements of local Vietnamese temples as a result). The temple complex is not large, located on a small hill, and can be toured in an hour. The architectural style is similar to Cambodia's Angkor Wat and Thailand's Ayutthaya. The repository also houses many documents from the Qing Dynasty between China and Vietnam, making it worth a visit~📜 2️⃣ Long Son Pagoda 📍 Long Son Pagoda 💰 Free 🕰 1 hour A Buddhist temple built in the late 19th century, which has undergone renovations and still hosts many monks in. The highlight of Long Son Pagoda is the large white Buddha statue on the hill behind the temple. From anywhere in Nha Trang city, you can see this massive white Buddha sitting on a lotus, overlooking the joys and troubles of humanity. Of course, we can also stand at the feet of the Buddha and overlook the city of Nha Trang~🌆 If you choose to descend the mountain along the side path, you can also see another white reclining Buddha. ps: There is a Lotte Mart near Long Son Pagoda, offering affordable food and air-conditioned dining. You can have a meal there after visiting the temple. 🍽️🛒 #MyDragonYearTravelDiary #StartTheNewYearWithATrip #MyOffbeatTravelGuide #CulturalAttractionShare #OverseasTravel #Vietnam #NhaTrangTravel #VietnamTravel #NhaTrang #MySpringFestivalThisWay
