Niagara-on-the-Lake Gyro Fast Food is awesome 👍

Today, we went on a spontaneous day trip! 🌟 The Niagara Falls were absolutely spectacular, but unfortunately, it was mostly cloudy. We only caught a glimpse of a rainbow for a few seconds 🌈—such a bummer! After visiting the falls, we headed to Niagara-on-the-Lake. The Prince Hotel is so charming! 🏰 We wanted to have afternoon tea there, but were politely told we needed a reservation—oh well. On our way here, we passed a gyro shop with a small line, and seeing good reviews online 🐶, we decided to give it a try. It’s called Gyro on the Lake. We ordered the Chicken on Pita and Gyro on Pita respectively. 🐔 Chicken on Pita ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ It was delicious! Not mind-blowing, but really tasty overall. The first bite—pita with meat, veggies, and sauce—was so satisfying! They were generous with the chicken, and the saltiness was just right. It would’ve been perfect with a bit more spice, though 🌶️. 🐂🐑 Gyro on Pita ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ I’m not a big fan of lamb, so I preferred the chicken one. But if you love lamb, you’ll probably think both are great! The thinly sliced gyro is easy to eat, and the mix of beef and lamb gives it a unique flavor. In short, if you’re looking for a quick bite, this place is a solid choice. Grab a drink from the nearby LCBO and have a low-key picnic in a nearby park 😎. The line at Cows was way too long—we’ll try that next time! Also want to check out the sushi place nearby. #NiagaraFood 🍴
