Nice Restaurant Guide: Hits and Misses
Hits (❤) 1. Bocca Mar - Garden Sea View Restaurant Highlights: Chose this over the crowded Le Galet. Same sea view with a better garden atmosphere. Worth it for the fewer people and beautiful scenery. Recommended Dishes: Coconut ice cream, octopus, and beef cheeks. 2. Casa Leya - Arch Sea View Restaurant Highlights: Sit outside for the best view of the street and sea through the restaurant's archway. Popular spot, so service can be so-so, but the food is commendable. If you visit only one sea view restaurant, this should be it. Recommended Dishes: Mussels, truffle pasta, and pizza, with the tiramisu being a standout. 3. Garden Café Nice - Street View Brunch Highlights: Great value for money. Large portions that are beautifully presented and tasty, despite not being by the sea. Can't make reservations, so expect slower service when it's busy, but it's worth the wait. Recommended Dishes: One set menu for two girls, with an extra avocado side. 4. Wayne's Bar - British Live Music Bar Highlights: Vintage British pub with high value for money, featuring beef nachos and cocktails. Enjoy live performances and a lively atmosphere. Recommended Dishes: Beef nachos and cocktails. Note to be mindful of personal belongings and safety. 5. Boulangerie Pâtisserie Traiteur - French Bakery Highlights: Discovered while visiting the Russian Orthodox Cathedral. Better than other bakeries with lower prices and higher quality. Recommended Dishes: Almond croissant, puff pastry, sandwiches, fresh juices, and vegetable juices. #Nice #NiceDining
