Ninnaji Temple in Kyoto, Japan πΈ
Ninnaji Temple is the head temple of the Shingon sect's Omuro school, πΏπ founded by Emperor Uda and completed in the 4th year of the Ninna era (888 AD). πΊ It is now listed as a UNESCO World Heritage Site. π―π The temple features a five-story pagoda and a main hall, surrounded by over 200 Omuro cherry trees. πΏπ The inner courtyard is quite spacious, and walking around takes some time. There are clear route signs that are well-planned, πΏπ allowing visitors to see all the important areas without missing anything or feeling crowded with other tourists. πΆββοΈπΈ πΊ With very few visitors, I sat in the courtyard for a while, enjoying the gentle breeze and the expansive view. πΏπ It truly allows one to forget the worries of the world. π¬οΈ π The surrounding ancient buildings are well-preserved, without any deliberate repainting or renovations, πΊmaking every effort to maintain the temple's original appearance. ποΈπΏ #Japan π―π΅
