Fresh update from the Blue Lake Trail! We started the hike with light snowfall ❄️—got to see golden larches dusted with snow, so magical! Then the sun came out, lighting up the rugged peaks of the North Cascades. Absolutely stunning! Right now, the golden larches are near peak—most have turned bright gold, while some are still changing. If the weather’s clear, don’t wait—go for it! 🌞 📍 Trail Info: • Route: Blue Lake Trail (North Cascades) • Difficulty: Moderate | ~4.5 miles round trip • Elevation Gain: ~1,000 ft | Take it slow, totally manageable • Parking: Limited at the trailhead—arrive early! 🚗 • Weather: Chilly!
