North Park Café | Holsem Coffee
Finally checked out this unique coffee spot—Holsem Coffee🍂! Now I have some time to properly jot down my experience. ☕️ For drinks, I ordered one of their signatures—the Orange Latte. The first sip truly amazed me! The citrus notes felt natural—neither too overpowering nor too subtle—and blended perfectly with the rich, smooth latte✨. A light sprinkle of cinnamon on top added a delicate aroma without being too strong. The overall taste was refreshing. I went with 25% sweetness, which was just right—not too sweet or cloying. It actually made me curious to try their other specialty drinks, like the Pumpkin Latte and the Lavender one. Definitely coming back next time to explore more! 🥑 For a light bite, I had the Avocado Toast. You could tell they put thought into the ingredients. The sourdough bread was chewy and substantial, while the avocado spread was cool, creamy, and smooth. The standout was the pickled pink onions on top—tangy and appetizing, perfectly cutting through any potential richness from the avocado. They also added some sunflower seeds and a sprinkle of sea salt, making each bite flavorful and well-balanced. Overall, it was light, refreshing, and satisfying. 💻 If you're looking for a place to study or work, the environment here is quite suitable. I’d recommend coming around noon or early afternoon—mornings tend to be livelier with coffee chats, which creates a nice vibe but can get a bit noisy. However, by around 1 PM, the crowd thins out, and it becomes much quieter in the afternoon, making it easier to focus. The space is clean and spacious, with plenty of seating. Almost every seat has a power outlet nearby, the Wi-Fi is stable, and the air conditioning is comfortable (I even brought a jacket but didn’t end up needing it 😂). 📍 North Park 🕙 Opening Hours: Mon–Sun 7 AM–5 PM Overall, Holsem Coffee is a creative and cozy café with thoughtful details in both drinks and food. It’s the kind of place you’d want to visit again! #GoodForStudyAndWork #SDCoffeeShop #SanDiegoCafes
