Norwegian Tromsø Cuisine | Tromsø

For my first meal in Norway, I had to try some fish soup 🥣, and Pastafabrikken is mainly known for its pasta and fish soup. (The menu varies between lunch and dinner. We went for lunch and had made a reservation on their official website in advance. However, since it was a weekday and not a holiday, the place wasn't crowded, and you could easily walk in.) Pastafabrikken 📍 Sjogata 17, 9008 Tromsø, Norway Menu : ZUPPA NETTUNO Fish Soup 🥣 (Figure 2) - NOK 184 The soup has a very smooth texture and is incredibly fresh. It contains shrimp 🦛, shellfish, and fish, among other seafood. The bread served with it is delicious on its own or dipped in the soup. LASAGNE (Figure 3) - NOK 207 Similar to lasagna! We saw several tables of foreigners ordering this dish, so we decided to give it a try. The combination of meat sauce and cheese 🧀 is tasty (though it does get a bit salty towards the end). PASTA SCAMPI Shrimp Pasta 🦐 (Figure 4) - NOK 206 The pasta has a slightly spicy tomato sauce 🍅 and is very refreshing. PASTA CARBONARA (with raw egg) Bacon Cream Pasta 🥪 (Figure 5) - NOK 202 Creamy but not greasy or heavy. The menu mentioned raw eggs 🥚, but they weren't included when the dish arrived (it seems they might be served only at dinner). We asked the waiter, and they kindly brought us a raw egg. Overall, for two people, three pastas and two fish soups were a bit too much (but since we were there, we ordered everything we wanted to try). 💰 Total: NOK 983, averaging about RMB 229 per person. #HiddenGems #Norway #TravelNorway #FoodShare #Travel #Seafood #FoodRecommendation #RestaurantRecommendation #Foodie #FoodReview #TravelDiary #MyRandomSnaps #MustTry #Tromso #TromsoTravel #Pasta #FoodDiary
