Oklahoma | Awesome AKAI Sushi ๐ฃ๐คฉ๐
After riding the iconic Wheeler Ferris Wheel earlier, we headed straight to dinner at AKAI Sushi โ located just nearby! ๐ถโโ๏ธ๐จ The area is filled with colorful little houses and restaurants ๐ก๐จ, with a lively, family-friendly vibe. Lots of white families, kids running around in Thunder jerseys โก๐งข, and cheerful music in the air โ it just feels happy! We pushed open the heavy door (wasnโt even sure it was the entrance ๐ ) and stepped into a whole new world ๐ชโจ. The host asked if we wanted to sit in the bar area, solo conveyor belt section, or group dining zone. We chose the group area and were promptly served menus, utensils, and ice water ๐ง๐ง. We each ordered a main: ใ1ใFried Rice โ packed with plump shrimp ๐ค๐ ใ2ใRamen โ noodles were perfectly chewy and springy ๐๐ฅ Plus some extras (just in case!): ใ3ใSalmon Sashimi โ so tender and buttery ๐๐ ใ4ใSUSHI โ recommended by our wonderful server ๐ This was the star of the night ๐! We got the specialty roll marked on the menu with: Tempura shrimp ๐ค Spicy salmon & spicy tuna ๐ถ๏ธ๐ Mango ๐ฅญ + avocado ๐ฅ Crispy burdock root + spicy garlic aioli + eel sauce Each bite was an explosion of flavor โ absolutely unforgettable! Shoutout to our server Bekah L โ remember that name! ๐โค๏ธ She was energetic, sweet, and so much fun. When she saw us admiring the cool black napkins, she even taught us how to fold them โ no secrets kept! All in all โ a fantastic dining experience ๐ฝ๏ธ๐ซ. Check out the receipt (pre-tip) below!
