After riding the iconic Wheeler Ferris Wheel earlier, we headed straight to dinner at AKAI Sushi β€” located just nearby! πŸšΆβ€β™€οΈπŸ’¨ The area is filled with colorful little houses and restaurants 🏑🎨, with a lively, family-friendly vibe. Lots of white families, kids running around in Thunder jerseys ⚑🧒, and cheerful music in the air β€” it just feels happy! We pushed open the heavy door (wasn’t even sure it was the entrance πŸ˜…) and stepped into a whole new world πŸšͺ✨. The host asked if we wanted to sit in the bar area, solo conveyor belt section, or group dining zone. We chose the group area and were promptly served menus, utensils, and ice water πŸ§ŠπŸ’§. We each ordered a main: 【1】Fried Rice β€” packed with plump shrimp 🍀🍚 【2】Ramen β€” noodles were perfectly chewy and springy 🍜πŸ”₯ Plus some extras (just in case!): 【3】Salmon Sashimi β€” so tender and buttery πŸŸπŸ’– 【4】SUSHI β€” recommended by our wonderful server πŸŽ‰ This was the star of the night 🌟! We got the specialty roll marked on the menu with: Tempura shrimp 🍀 Spicy salmon & spicy tuna 🌢️🐟 Mango πŸ₯­ + avocado πŸ₯‘ Crispy burdock root + spicy garlic aioli + eel sauce Each bite was an explosion of flavor β€” absolutely unforgettable!
