After riding the iconic Wheeler Ferris Wheel 🎡, we headed straight to AKAI Sushi – just steps away! The area is filled with colorful little houses and restaurants 🏡, with a lively, relaxed vibe and plenty of locals (including kids in Thunder jerseys! ⚽). Pushing open the heavy door (almost missed the entrance 😅), we entered a whole new world! The host asked if we wanted to sit in the bar area, solo conveyor belt sushi zone, or group dining section. We chose the last one and were promptly served menus, utensils, and ice water 🧊. Here’s what we ordered: 1️⃣ Fried Rice 🍚: Packed with shrimp! 🍤 2️⃣ Ramen 🍜: Chewy noodles, rich broth – so satisfying! 3️⃣ Salmon Appetizer 🐟: Tender, buttery, and fresh! 4️⃣ Specialty Sushi Roll (recommended by our server!): 🔥 The star of the show! 🌟 Inside: Tempura shrimp, spicy salmon, spicy tuna, mango 🥭, avocado 🥑, crispy burdock, spicy sesame aioli, and eel sauce. Each bite was an explosion of flavor! 💥 Shoutout to our server Bekah L – remember her name! 👏 She was energetic, friendly, and even taught us how to fold their cute black napkins 😂.
