Oklahoma | Oklahoma City (OKC) | University Tour ππ¨
This time, I brought my little π· with me on another road trip! With π· by my side, the journey was anything but lonely. Our first stop was Oklahoma City, the capital of Oklahoma. With nearly 700,000 people, OKC offers plenty of restaurants π½οΈ, a great outlet mall for shopping ποΈ, and even a large Asian supermarket π. Itβs a safe and livable city β perfect for settling down. π OKC Lighthouse This might be the only βmust-takeβ photo spot in the city π. It must be lovely in summer, but in winter β the wind is wild! π¬οΈ Still, youβll see people jogging π and biking π΄ around the lake. π University of Oklahoma (OU) You have to visit the library at OU β itβs absolutely stunning! πβ¨ After seeing so many Midwestern universities, I can confidently say OUβs library is one of the best in the region. Unlike the overly modern libraries you often find, this one has charm and character. I could easily spend a whole day studying (or just admiring) here. Totally in love! π π¨ Best Western Plus / Premium This trip, I stayed exclusively at Best Western Plus or Premium properties (and a few Holiday Inns) β and not a single disappointment! πβ A lot of people complain about Best Western, but thatβs because they havenβt tried the Plus or Premium tiers. These are a step up: clean, spacious, comfortable, and quiet π§Όπ. Well worth the extra few dollars π΅. #UniversityOfOklahoma #OU #Oklahoma #OKC #RoadTrip #BestWestern #TravelWithKids
