Oklahoma | Oklahoma City (OKC) | University Tour πŸš—πŸ’¨

This time, I brought my little 🐷 with me on another road trip! With 🐷 by my side, the journey was anything but lonely. Our first stop was Oklahoma City, the capital of Oklahoma. With nearly 700,000 people, OKC offers plenty of restaurants 🍽️, a great outlet mall for shopping πŸ›οΈ, and even a large Asian supermarket πŸ›’. It’s a safe and livable city β€” perfect for settling down. πŸ“ OKC Lighthouse This might be the only β€œmust-take” photo spot in the city πŸ˜‰. It must be lovely in summer, but in winter β€” the wind is wild! 🌬️ Still, you’ll see people jogging πŸƒ and biking 🚴 around the lake. πŸ“ University of Oklahoma (OU) You have to visit the library at OU β€” it’s absolutely stunning! πŸ“šβœ¨ After seeing so many Midwestern universities, I can confidently say OU’s library is one of the best in the region. Unlike the overly modern libraries you often find, this one has charm and character. I could easily spend a whole day studying (or just admiring) here. Totally in love! πŸ’• 🏨 Best Western Plus / Premium This trip, I stayed exclusively at Best Western Plus or Premium properties (and a few Holiday Inns) β€” and not a single disappointment! πŸ›Œβœ… A lot of people complain about Best Western, but that’s because they haven’t tried the Plus or Premium tiers. These are a step up: clean, spacious, comfortable, and quiet πŸ§ΌπŸ”‡. Well worth the extra few dollars πŸ’΅. #UniversityOfOklahoma #OU #Oklahoma #OKC #RoadTrip #BestWestern #TravelWithKids
