Old San Juan: A Great Steakhouse

🧡El Asador was our last meal before leaving, and they did not disappoint us. The place is spacious with a fantastic atmosphere. 🍮Walking through the front hall of the restaurant, the backyard reveals a hidden gem. The stone-paved courtyard is adorned with kerosene lamps, and the charcoal grill is emitting an enticing aroma. 🥨We ordered the steak medium-rare, and it was juicy when cut open. The batter on the fried squid rings was thin, allowing the natural sweetness of the squid to shine through. 🥐The servers were quiet but attentive, quietly refilling our roasted potatoes. The other dishes were excellent as well. We watched the chef busy at the open grill, skillfully controlling the heat. The portions were generous. 🍹The food was outstanding, and the ambiance was wonderful.
