One-Michelin-Star Moody Tongue Restaurant Week Recommendation
I heard that their taste menu is quite a good deal and doesn't require a reservation. My friend and I walked in on a work night, but all the tables were taken, so we sat at the bar. Overall, I thought the three-course meal for $60 was definitely worth it. TO START SEARED FOIE GRAS π The foie gras was very rich and fatty. Paired with jam and pancakes, it was flavorful without being greasy. CONFIT PORK BELLY π The pork belly was perfectly pan-fried and very aromatic! The apple-onion relish complemented it well and made it not feel heavy at all. ENTRΓE GRILLED BAVETTE STEAK π₯© Both my friend and I ordered the steak, which was very tender and delicious! The portion was satisfying, and we were both quite full after finishing it. DESSERT BLOOD ORANGE SEMIFREDO π It was essentially ice cream with two slices of blood orange and some biscuits. The flavor was quite nice. CHOCOLATE TART The chocolate tart had a rich, nutty flavor. It was so rich that I got a bit overwhelmed after just a couple of bites... π Moody Tongue 2515 S Wabash Ave, Chicago, IL 60616 #RestaurantRecommendation #Chicago #ChicagoFood
