One Pot - Hot Pot in Columbus 🍲

They’re finally open! I heard they were coming a year and a half ago, and after PJ opened, I thought maybe it was the same place with a new name. The decor has a nice Chinese vibe, and the outside looks super pretty — it’s in the same plaza as Whole Foods. Personally, I feel it’s a bit better value than PJ or Kpot, with more food and sauce bar options. 💰 Price: $30 per person for hot pot or BBQ — add $5 to do both. Drinks are extra. ❤️❤️❤️ Sichuan Spicy Beef Fat Broth They actually have beef fat hot pot broth — so nostalgic! But like the others, the broth itself isn’t super flavorful; you still need the sauce bar to really season it. ❤️ Tomato Broth Not recommended — very mild, especially after adding water, it basically turns into a plain broth 😅. ❤️❤️❤️❤️ 8 Meat Choices The meat quality is pretty good — especially the ribeye and beef tongue. ❤️❤️❤️❤️ Seafood & Sides The head-on shrimp were fresh, shrimp paste and mussels were nice. Mini sausages weren’t great for hot pot though. The plates are cute! Fried rice was bad — skip it. ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️ Vegetables The fried taro was delicious! Veggies overall were fresh. Their produce quality is actually high — bamboo shoots, lotus root, bean sprouts that often go bad elsewhere were really good here. ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️ Sauce Bar The sauces are very authentic — sesame paste, sesame oil, even Lao Ganma chili sauce! Appetizers included tripe salad, kimchi, etc. They even had ice jelly dessert (a bit too sweet and made from powder, but still nice!). Fruit was honeydew. Overall, good value — making hot pot at home would cost about the same, though you could get better meat and broth. Worth trying if you haven’t been — not mind-blowing, but convenient since you don’t have to prep or clean up! 📍 Address: 3720 W Granville Rd, Columbus, OH 43235 🅿️ Parking: Street spots in front, plus lot behind in the plaza 🚻 Bathrooms: Clean (newly opened), but the automatic faucet runs for like one second — washing hands is a workout 💦 📅 Reservations: Walk-ins welcome ⏰ Hours: 11:30 AM – 10:30 PM #LocalEats #ColumbusFood #Columbus #HotPot #HotPotHealsEverything 🥢
