I've been meaning to try this place forever, but my terrible driving skills kept delaying the visit! 😅 Finally went with a vegetarian friend, and wow—now I totally understand why this place has thrived for over two decades. ✅ First-Time Order Highlights 🥤 Hong Kong-Style Milk Tea Rich, bold tea flavor with creamy sweetness—just like the authentic versions in Hong Kong! You adjust the sugar yourself, which is perfect for customizing to your taste. 🌽 Buddha's Delight (Lo Han Jai) A vegetarian dream! Braised tofu puffs, shiitake mushrooms, and other veggies cooked to perfection—light yet deeply flavorful. The surprise crunch of water chestnuts took it to another level. 🫛 Dry-Fried Green Beans The chef kindly substituted the usual minced pork with tofu puffs for my veggie friend. Spicy, fragrant, and with beans that were crispy outside yet tender inside—so addictive! 🍖 Steamed Beef Tripe (Money Bag Tripe) Impeccably cleaned (zero weird smells!) with that perfect chewy texture. The savory soy-based sauce paired amazingly with steamed rice. 🍞 "Zha Liang" (Fried Dough Stick Rice Roll) My first time trying this with a mix of sesame and hoisin sauce—absolute game-changer! The crispy youtiao (fried dough) inside stayed perfectly crunchy. We ended up taking half of it home and enjoyed another full meal later. So. Damn.
