Ottawa's Tacos Rival Seven Lives
We ordered: š® Fish Taco The fried fish taco has very tender fish inside, paired with homemade Spicy Mayo and radish slices that are very refreshing. š® Pollo Asado Taco The grilled chicken taco with Salsa, the chicken itself is a bit bland, but it's just right with the Salsa, and the chicken is not dry. š® Ox Tongue Taco Highly recommend this! The ox tongue is given in a huge amount and thickness! It's very tender, and the ox tongue actually has the texture of foie gras. They say their ox tongue is simmered for 12 hours, and it's only 8 dollars each. What more could you ask for? Go for it! š¹ Pina Colada & Margarita Delicious! But at 16 dollars a cup, it's enough for me to have a couple more tacos, which feels a bit not worth it. This shop has two locations, and we went to the one in Byward Market. If the weather is nice, it's recommended to sit on the second floor Patio, where you can see the Parliament Hill in the distance. The average price of a taco is 7 or 8 dollars, which is quite cheap, but the drinks are a bit pricey. Overall, it's a daily recommendation and can compete with the Seven Lives we had in Toronto. #Ottawa #OttawaFood #Tacos #OttawaShopExploration #Canada #CanadianStudy #Weekend #FriendGathering
