First stop: Commissioners Park for tulip mania! 🌷📸 Snapped pics galore, and just as we left—sunshine broke through! ☀️✨ Perfect timing. Next up: Parliament Hill! 🏛️🕒 Booked a 1:55 PM tour, arrived by 1:30 PM… only to find the main building wrapped in scaffolding! 🚧🚧 Renovation mode activated! But guess what? Since the main chamber’s closed, we got to peek into the temporary meeting hall! 🤯 Our guide spilled all the tea on Canadian politics: Seating secrets: Spotted the PM’s seat vs. the Opposition Leader’s spot—learned why they’re arranged that way! 💺🔍 Speaker’s “reluctant” tradition: New Speakers get dragged to the chair by PM + Opposition Leader, faking major drama! 🎭😜 Historically risky job (some got executed by the Crown!), hence the fake pushback.
