Ottawa Sunday Brunch Check-in – Wilf&Ada's
As a lover of Egg Benedict, I tried their Mariposa Duck, which claims to use oil-infused duck from the owner's own farm. Personally, I'm sensitive to the gamey taste of duck, and this one still had it but was acceptable, just a bit too salty and dry. Next time, I'll probably try the Classic Blackstone. Today, their Egg Benny's performance was average; the soft poaching was far from achieved, and the eggs were essentially fully cooked. What deserves praise is their Potatoes (Homies), which I love, especially when dipped in their Homemade spicy sauce. ❤️They source many of their ingredients from local farmers, so everything is very fresh! We ordered a Duck Benedict (I just made up the name) and a Meatball Burger. 👍The Duck Benedict has a crispy bread base, stuffed with roasted apples, then topped with duck meat and a runny egg. Each bite is incredibly rich in texture! This dish is also their signature dish, a must-try! ❤️The second dish I ordered was a today's Off Menu Item called Spicy Meatball Melt. It's a homemade meatball made from beef and pork, topped with melted Cheese Curd on a burger. The taste was good. This reminded me to recommend the fresh spicy meatballs in the Farm Boy refrigerated section! ❤️When you pay by card here, be careful as the system defaults to tip percentages of 20%, 25%, 99%, oh, don't accidentally tap the wrong one 😄 ❤️The address is 510 Bank St, Ottawa, ON K2P 1Z4, and they are closed on Mondays and Tuesdays! #ShopExploration #Brunch #Ottawa #Food #EggsBenedict #OttawaBrunch
