Outside Lands Music Festival Guide: Map, Schedule, Public Transit, Livestream, And More

**Outside Lands Music and Arts Festival** is officially this weekend, from **August 8 to 10**, in Golden Gate Park. Outside Lands 2025 Festival Map ------------------------------- The festival takes place in [Golden Gate Park](https://secretsanfrancisco.com/golden-gate-park-unique-activities/), which spans multiple areas. The Polo Field features the Lands End stage and Dolores area, while Mark Meadow has the SoMa stage, and Hellman Hollow includes the Panhandle Stage and Twin Peaks stage. McLaren Pass has Wine Lands, Flower Lands, Sober Lands, and more. Public transit and road closures -------------------------------- The festival draws large crowds to **Golden Gate Park**, so you can expect some traffic and changes to Muni over the weekend in areas around the festival grounds. To accommodate the influx of people, Muni will provide extra services on the **N Judah, 5R Fulton Rapid, and 5X Fulton Express** services from Golden Gate Park to Civic Center BART Station. Extra buses along the route will have signs with their specific destination, and will not serve the entire route. Street closures will be minimal; only JFK Drive from **Transverse to 36th Avenue** will be closed starting **Monday, August 4**. The festival has specific areas designated for pick up and drop off if you plan on taking a ride hail or taxi. There will also be **blackout area**s where you will be unable to get picked up, so we recommend checking out the designated locations before you plan on the leaving the festival. We also recommend you stop by **Dolores’,** a dance club in the festival that **celebrates queer and trans communities**. The festival has also recently added small wedding ceremonies, called City Hall, so you might see some newly weds around the festival grounds. Plus, local retailer **GAP** is having a **pop-up at the festival**, where you can costumes one of their classic sweatshirts with SF and Outside Lands patches and paint markers. Bag policy ---------- You can bring a small bag, such as a purse or fanny pack, up to **6 x 8 x 3 inches**, or a clear bag, such as a backpack. Empty hydration packs will be allowed.
