Paris Punishes Every "P-Type Traveler" Equally

As a "spur-of-the-moment" P-type traveler, I’ve deeply felt Paris’ unfriendliness toward "going with the flow"—especially in peak season. For those world-famous museums and attractions, if you don’t plan ahead, you might end up only taking photos with their gates. For the following places, I strongly recommend booking tickets in advance👇: Louvre Museum Musée d’Orsay (Orsay Museum) Musée de l’Orangerie (Orangerie Museum) Palace of Versailles Palais Garnier (Paris Opera House) Arc de Triomphe (Triumphal Arch) Grand Palais (Grand Palace) If you’re a J-type traveler: 📅 Just book in advance: At least 1-2 weeks ahead, and the earlier the better during peak tourist seasons. 🎟 Booking channels: The official websites are the most reliable, or you can use platforms like Ticketmaster or Fnac Spectacles. 🚀 P-type travelers, I recommend the Paris Museum Pass directly! Strongly suggest getting the Paris Museum Pass! It covers over 60 attractions in one go, saves you from the hassle of booking repeatedly, and lets you enjoy fast-track entry—it’s truly my travel lifesaver! A 48-hour pass is around 70 euros, and it’s totally worth it for the time you’ll save. My niche tips: 🌙 Night visits: If you, like me, don’t like crowds, the Louvre and Orsay Museum have night opening days. Check the opening hours in advance—the atmosphere of a night visit is really different! 👣 Less crowded times: The early bird catches the worm—early opening hours or near closing time in the afternoon are great opportunities with fewer people. 💸 Free times: Many museums are free on the first Sunday of each month (October to March). Those under 18 or EU residents aged 18-25 are free year-round—don’t miss these perks! Of course, Paris also has many small niche spots that don’t require booking, like the street art in Montmartre and those hidden cafés. Due to word limits, I’ll talk about these hidden gems in the next post! #NationalDaySlowTravel #LessCrowdedNationalDaySpots #CheapAndFunCountries #Travel #France #ParisTravel #MyNicheTravelGuide #ParisMuseums #EuropeanTravel #StudyingInEurope
