Pasadena's Stunning Gardens 🌸
💰 Adult tickets are $25 per person, with discounts for students. It's recommended to book tickets online in advance. 📅 The garden is closed every Tuesday, so be sure to check the operating hours. Located in Pasadena, the Huntington Library was once the private garden of railway tycoon Henry Huntington, and it's built on a grand scale. The garden is beautiful and worth allocating about 3 hours to appreciate and take photos. 📸 The landscape design throughout the park lives up to the phrase "a view with every step": in addition to European-style architecture and sculptures, it mainly consists of four adjacent smaller gardens that can be visited in sequence. There are many paths within the park, but fortunately, the signs are clear, so you won't get lost. 🚶🏻♀️🚶🏻 There is a so-called shuttle to take you to various attractions within the park, but in reality, I only saw it once in three hours, so it's still recommended to walk and enjoy the scenery along the way. Be sure to apply sunscreen and stay hydrated, as walking around the park for three hours can darken your skin by a degree. 😶🌫️ (Actually, getting a tan is fine, but skin damage is not good.) It's also recommended to take breaks indoors at the museum after walking outside for a while. Additionally, the gift shop has a special table dedicated to Jellycat, which is worth a browse. 💐 Rose Garden Filled with a variety of roses for everyone to admire, and under the shade of the trees, there are grandmothers who educate people about the different types of roses. (It's really hot in the summer, I admire the grandmothers. 🥵) Coming around May should be the best season for roses, and you can refer to other people's photos of the rose bloom. In July, you can still see a few flowers, but for portrait photography, it's a bit lacking. 🎏 Japanese Heritage Shoya House Shoya in Japanese probably means farmer, and the courtyard seems to imitate the home of a village chief with a decent income? As soon as you enter the Japanese garden, you can see the well-arranged scenery. The overall design has mountains and water, which looks very unique. There are also many bonsai donated by people on display. 🎊🎍 🌵 Desert Garden A very classic desert landscape, with a mix of various cacti, succulents, and a kind of beauty that is orderly amidst chaos. 🐲 Chinese Garden The name is very beautiful, simulating a Jiangnan garden, with about a 75% similarity, but it still lacks some finesse. The photo-taking level is average, and there aren't many photos taken... #LosAngelesLife #LosAngelesAttractions #Pasadena #LosAngelesWeekend #WhereToGoInLosAngelesWeekend #NorthAmericaLife #California #CaliforniaTravel #BeautifulSceneryOnTheTrip
