Pasadena Food Adventure | UOVO โ Delicious Italian Handmade Pasta ๐๐ฎ
We finally tried UOVO, known as the spot for some of the best pasta in town! The name means "egg" in Italian โ and they use specialty eggs and traditional methods to make fresh pasta daily. As pasta lovers, we had to see what the hype was about. We went with the Cheese Truffle Set from the tasting menu: Yellowtail Crudo โ A refreshing and flavorful start ๐ Tagliatelle in Truffle Sauce โ Rich, aromatic, and absolutely heavenly ๐ Pomodoro โ Classic tomato pasta, simple and well-executed ๐ Cacio e Pepe โ Made with sheepโs milk cheese, but a bit too salty for our taste ๐ง We also added a side of mushrooms โ also leaning salty. ๐ฐ Tiramisu โ So good! The bottom layer had intense chocolate flavor โ a perfect finish. ๐ฐ ~$38 per person for three pastas ๐ก A 16% service fee is included โ no extra tip needed. Fair and transparent! We loved it so much we went back and tried the Vongole โ clams in white wine sauce ๐ถ, light and delicious. But my heart still belongs to the truffle tagliatelle!
