Pasadena Food Hunt – UOVO’s Delicious Italian Handmade Pasta 🍝🇮🇹

Finally made it to UOVO – known as some of the best pasta around! UOVO means “egg” in Italian 🥚, and they use special eggs from Italy, prepared with traditional slicing and cutting methods. Made fresh daily and completely handmade. As a pasta lover, I had to try it! 🧑🍳💖 We chose the Cheese Truffle set from the tasting menu: • Yellowtail Crudo – delicious! 🐟 • Tagliatelle in Truffle Sauce – the truffle aroma was incredible! 🍄✨ • Pomodoro – classic tomato pasta, also tasty! 🍅 • Cacio e Pepe – cheese pasta (made with sheep’s milk), but a bit too salty 🧀🧂 We added a side of mushrooms – still felt a tad salty overall. Tiramisu for dessert – so good, especially the rich chocolate layer at the bottom! 🍫☕ Price: around $38 per person You get to try three pastas, and no need to tip – a 16% service fee is already included. Fair for both customers and chefs! 💵👌 Went back a second time and ordered the Vongole – clam pasta with white wine, light and refreshing.
