Pearland Flea Market: A Fun and Tasty Experience

🄩As a long-time resident of Pearland, I have to recommend this amazing flea market to all my Houston friends! There’s a little Mexican shop here where I always order menudo (Mexican tripe soup). The tripe is perfectly tender and flavorful, with generous portions of meat and a couple of pieces of oxtail. I love eating it with flour tortillas or crumbling the tortillas into the soup for a tripe soup stew. 🄩 The flavor here is fantastic, and it’s only $12 for a large portion. There’s no hominy in the soup—just pure tripe goodness. After finishing the soup, I usually enjoy some Mexican fruit snacks and a mango salsa smoothie to cut the richness. ā€¼ļøThe market itself is filled with all kinds of Mexican snacks, dried fruits, spices, fresh produce, and even Mexican herbal supplements and massages. I bought my first rabbit here, and the pet stalls also sell parrots, hamsters, chicks, guinea pigs, and puppies. It’s truly eye-opening! I also picked up some beautiful Mexican ceramic jars and handmade aprons. I left with a refreshing agua fresca in hand. ā€¼ļøMy first visit to this flea market felt just like going to a local town market back home, with a touch of Chinese nostalgia. It’s incredibly down-to-earth, even if it’s a bit rustic. It’s really satisfying. The market is only open on weekends, and parking costs $3. šŸ“ Cole’s Antique Village & Flea Market 1014 N Main St, Pearland, TX 77581 #HoustonLife #HoustonExploration #HoustonFood #Houston #HoustonFleaMarket
