PETIT FOUR Dessert Cafe
šµ4070 State Hwy 121 #420, Carrollton, TX 75010 Every time I visit Carrollton, I make sure to stop by this place. Currently, my family and I have three favorites: Earl Grey cheesecake, sweet potato cheesecake, and pomegranate tart. Sweet Potato Cheesecake: Highly recommended! If you love sweet potatoes, you have to try this. The flavor is pure and rich, with a smooth texture and no added cinnamon. šBlack Sesame Tart: The top layer is black sesame cream, with cake and black sesame custard in the middle and lower layers. Itās very nutty but sacrifices some smoothness in texture. Itās not my favorite, but I recommend it to those who love black sesame. šøMatcha Cheesecake: Not recommended. The top layer is matcha powder mixed with cream, and the bottom layer is matcha cheesecake. Itās quite average. Perhaps to enhance the matcha flavor, they added a lot of powder, making the cake very dense. šPomegranate Tart: Recommended! The top layer is pomegranate and sugar glaze, with whipped cream in the middle and a New York-style cheesecake base. The slight tartness of the pomegranate pairs perfectly with the sweetness of the cream, making it a refreshing treat. Basque Cheesecake: Worth a try, though itās not the most outstanding. šEspresso Shaved Ice: Not recommended. Itās shaved milk ice with cereal sprinkled on top and drizzled with espresso. The ice isnāt very smooth, and the cereal is a bit crunchy and unpleasant. Mugwort Tart: The top layer of the tart is made of nutty biscuits, which are a bit damp and not very fresh. The inside is filled with red bean paste, mochi, mugwort cream, and almond slices. The combination is quite odd and doesnāt have the fresh scent of mugwort. #Dallas #LifeInDallas #DallasFoodie
