Philadelphia Has Its Own “Titanic” | Moshulu Four-Masted Ship
I highly recommend visiting during the twilight hours; it’s incredibly serene! The ship features a European medieval-style relief design, and its deck and interior design somewhat resemble a budget version of the Titanic. ⚓️ Originally named the HMS Durward, this ship has carried the First Lady of the United States and even appeared in the young Vito Corleone scenes in The Godfather. It is currently the largest four-masted ship still in use in the world. 🥂 Recommended Dishes: Starter: Cheese and Crab Meat Macaroni: A must for cheese lovers! It’s very rich and creamy, with tender crab meat. The portion is quite large; I’d say it’s substantial enough to be a main course. Starter: Lobster Soup: I found it to be very flavorful and delicious, but those who aren’t used to salty meat broths might want to give it a miss. Entrée: Chicken: The chicken is incredibly tender and well-seasoned. It’s a healthy main course option that’s neither dry nor fatty. Beverage: Sweet Wines and Cocktails: Their selection of wines and cocktails is generally good, though not particularly outstanding. 💣 Avoid: The beef and salmon are quite average and lack flavor. Overall, the portions are generous, and the warm-colored interior design creates a cozy atmosphere. It’s a great place to relax and unwind in a different setting or to celebrate a special occasion. 📍: 401 S Christopher Columbus Blvd, Philadelphia, PA 19106 #Moshulu #Philadelphia #DateRestaurant #HolidayRestaurant #SailingShip
