Phoenix/Sedona Food Diary ๐ฝ๏ธ
A quick recap of some popular restaurants I tried in Arizona! ๐ Sedona ๐ซ๐ท Rene at Tlaquepaque โญ๏ธโญ๏ธโญ๏ธโญ๏ธ | $90/person ๐ Escargot: Just a few snails, a bit oily. Okay. ๐ฆ Foie Gras: Tasty! Perfect to share โ can be rich if eaten alone. ๐ฅฉ Porterhouse + Boursin Potatoes: Pretty good. ๐ Chilean Sea Bass: Super delicious!! Light flavor, tender scallops, no fishy taste ๐ฏ ๐ Braised Short Ribs: Sweet BBQ style. Average. ๐ฐ Tiramisu: A bit too sweet. ๐ฒ๐ฝ Elote Cafe โญ๏ธโญ๏ธ | $50/person Couldnโt reach by phone โ did walk-in takeout (no tip included) ๐ฝ Elote: Signature corn โ delicious! ๐ฅฃ Sweet Corn Bisque: Tasty but portion was tiny. A bowl isnโt enough for one. ๐ Lamb Adobo: Too salty. Only meat near bone was tender โ overall not good โ ๐ Phoenix ๐น๐ญ Lom Wong โญ๏ธโญ๏ธโญ๏ธโญ๏ธ | $50/person ๐ Gai Tawt Won Pen: Fried chicken wings โ pretty good. ๐ฆ Boo Pad Pong Garee: Super tasty! Cooked similar to Chinese style โ crab was fresh and flavorful (a bit salty, best with rice) ๐ฏ ๐ Kaeng Phet Charinda: Beef curry โ too spicy for me. Just okay. ๐ฒ๐ฝ Mariscos Playa Hermosa โญ๏ธโญ๏ธ | $38/person ๐ฎ Complimentary Ceviche Taco: Average. ๐ง La Grandiosa: Chilled seafood platter. Grilled shrimp was okay, but oysters were ruined by forced spicy salsa ๐ Not recommended โ ๐ El Pulpazo: Grilled octopus โ decent. Let me know if you want more details or recommendations! ๐ #FoodDiary #ArizonaEats #SedonaFood #PhoenixFood #MexicanFood #ThaiFood #FrenchFood #FoodieReview
