Pizza from New York to Boston 🍕 — Let’s See What Level It's At!
As an Italian food lover, I’ve been continuously exploring Boston's Italian scene… Today, I tried this highly recommended pizzeria — a branch that originated in New York, and it’s actually located right on Newbury Street! 🍕 Their pizza isn’t the traditional soft, hole-filled Neapolitan style—it leans more toward the crispy, thin-crust New York style (the edges are a bit hard and dry). The fig and prosciutto pizza was well-seasoned, a perfect sweet-and-savory combo. However, the downside was that fresh figs were out of season, so they used dried figs instead. The classic Margherita had cheese that was a bit too runny, separating from the crust. The chopped basil was fragrant, though! 🍝 Pasta was decent but not outstanding: Rigatoni alla Bolognese: A lighter, non-greasy meat sauce, but the pasta was slightly overcooked. Truffle pasta: Al dente and aromatic — truffle flavor rarely disappoints! 🍰 Desserts: Tiramisu was on the sweeter side — not as good as Eataly’s. Chocolate lava cake was pretty satisfying. Overall, it was okay~ but Ciao! Pizza and Pasta still holds the crown in my heart 👑 📍 Serafina 💰 About $45 per person (no alcohol or appetizers — just carbs and desserts, haha!) #BostonFoodExploration #WhatToEatInBoston #BostonFood #BostonRestaurantReview
