šPortland: What a Hidden Gem Restaurant! Iām Obsessed!
I saved this spot ages ago after seeing someone post about it, but never got the chance to visitāitās pretty far, tucked away in a quiet area. But since I was heading to Bamboo Boba (the bubble tea shop) nearby, I decided to stop by and give it a try š§! Walking in was a nice surpriseāthere was almost no one there! It was a Wednesday, but still dinnertime, and only one other table was occupied. As soon as I sat down, they brought me water, and the server was super friendly tooāmajor plus points š! They had a specials menu, but the server mentioned the season was wrapping up, so some dishes were already sold out š. Edamame: Just average, nothing special š„¦. Lobster Karage: This is pretty rare to find! I ate it after letting it sit for a bit, and it was still deliciousātotal surprise š! A5 Wagyu Beef Nigiri: I fell in love with this! It melts in your mouthā100% recommend š„©! Sea Urchin (Uni): Sweet and tasty, such a treat š¦! Spot Shrimp: Also really good, definitely above average š¤! Chuu Toro (Medium Fatty Tuna): So yummy! I loved itāorder this for sure š! Otoro (Fatty Tuna): I adored this too! It melts in your mouthāyou have to get it š ! Unagi (Eel): I ordered this for my dad. He eats unagi all the time, and even he said it was goodāthat says a lot! He rarely eats raw fish, but he even finished half of this š¢! Creamy Scallop: It was okay, but the other dishes were so good that I totally forgot about it š¦Ŗ! Negi Toro Roll: Itās hard to mess this one upāsolid as always š£! Iro Iro Maguro: I tried this because it looked good in online photos, but I forgot to take a pic when it arrived. It was delicious, though! I was so focused on my nigiri that I didnāt get to eat more of it š! Mentaiko Cream Udon: I couldnāt believe they had this! I love mentaiko udon so much, and I never knew this spot served itāitās such a hidden gem! Now I donāt have to drive all the way to Seattle just for this dish anymoreāI was so excited š„¢! As expected, you get what you pay for hereāitās really fantastic and totally worth it! Itās not even that expensive, either. The only time it gets a little pricey is if you order a lot of the fancy nigiri. If you just get the mentaiko udon alone, or a bowl of ramen, itās totally reasonable š°! Average cost per person: š²50-100 ⨠I genuinely think this place is greatādefinitely give it a try! Iāll 100% be coming back! āļø Itās in a small mall, right next to Safewayāparking is super easy! āļø Closed on Sundays, and closed for lunch break from 2:30 PM to 5 PM š14619 SW Teal Blvd, Beaverton, OR 97007 #portland #PortlandFood #PortlandRestaurantHopping #MustEatInPortland #DeliciousFood
