Bamboo Boba — Restaurant in Beaverton

This review is meant for management, and is not a reflection on the employee!

We came in at 12:15 for two drinks, and there was only one employee. One person had just finished ordering, and there were two other people behind us who ordered. The poor employee was juggling taking orders, making food, and making drinks, so we didn’t get our order for 25 minutes. On top of that, their brown sugar boba takes an hour and a half to get ready, but they only have their opener come in an hour before open, so I guess there’s just never brown sugar boba available for the first half hour to hour that they’re open? The drinks were good, however - a bit sweet even at 50%, so I would suggest 25% to get to what most other boba places make as 50%.

Management really needs to hire more employees and have them come in early enough to have all drinks and food items ready for service! The one employee who was working was super nice and does not deserve to be forced to do the work of...

First of all, this is a newer boba shop opened in March this year but so far, it is a solid place for the first time trying.

I had the $5.5 jasmine tea with milk foam, $4.9 jasmine milk tea and a $2.9 fruit tea. Price is pretty reasonable for the boba scene right now, around $4.9-6.5 per cup + a $2.9 fruit tea option. It was a warm day so I drank my jasmine tea milk foam in just no time, refreshing.

One thing that I found awesome is there are 3 free toppings option for your drink, so if you don’t want to pay extra for the toppings, you can go with the free option instead. Of course, only 1 per drink.

Staff is friendly and patient with all the questions. The only improvement I could think of is there is only 1 person at the store making the drinks and wait time was 10-15mins for me.

Overall experience: would definitely go back and try...

Love their drinks and staff so much! The raspberry fruit tea (half sweet with lychee jelly or tapioca) is absolutely perfect. They add a little lemon, and it tastes fresh with a good combo of the fruit and tea, as well as the sweet and tart. I can’t believe more shops don’t do raspberry fruit teas. It’s so good! We also love the original milk tea. It’s very flavorful and the perfect amount of richness, plus it’s non-dairy. They can make a bunch of their drinks non-dairy, so definitely ask (especially the wonderful manager Diana or our favorite staff member Jason) if you need that. They have staffed up a lot since their opening, so we usually see two people working at a time now, which makes the orders so much faster. They are always cheerful and kind.
