Portland Family Fun | Big Bounce America: Ultimate Parent Tips
This inflatable bounce park claims to be the world’s biggest—and before you head there with your kids, these tips are a must-read! 🎈 ⚠️ The Most Critical Tip! ⚠️ The Portland address listed on the official website is WRONG—don’t follow it on GPS! It’ll only take you to a golf club. Instead, search directly for “Portland International Raceway” to find the correct location 📍 🅿️ Parking Info There’s a large open-air parking lot right across from the bounce park. Parking costs $5, but vehicles with a Handicap placard park for free 🚗 👛 Bag Storage You can bring bags into the park! There’s a small bag storage area after check-in, but every bounce castle actually allows you to carry a bag inside. We recommend bringing a compact crossbody or backpack—keep it light and wear it throughout your visit for convenience 💼 👕 What to Wear Pack an extra set of clothes and a pair of socks! The areas between bounce castles are all grass, so by the end of your visit, your kid’s socks will either be muddy or covered in grass clippings—fresh socks will be a lifesaver 🧦 Guide to the Inflatable Zones The park has 4 main sections—here’s how to make the most of them: The World’s Biggest Bounce House (Time-Slot Only!) This one requires you to stick to a specific time. When you check in, you’ll get a wristband with your assigned slot—don’t miss it! You can only enter once, and you’ll have about 45 minutes inside. The highlight is a DJ-led dance area, where the DJ interacts with the crowd to get kids (and adults!) hyped up 🎶 Keep a close eye on your little ones here—it gets lively! The Giant (Most Tiring & Time-Consuming) This zone has 4 long inflatable obstacle courses. Each course includes challenges like climbing ladders and crawling through tunnels—think “inflatable ironman” for kids! Every course has its own exit, so your kid can stop early if they get tired. If they’ve got energy to spare, let them tackle all 4 🧗 Air Space A castle filled with tons of inflatable pits… but wait—the “balls” here are plastic, not inflatable! Watch out for kids tossing them around (it’s all in good fun, but a stray ball can surprise little ones) 🎾 Sport Slam (Last but Not Least!) This area has giant inflatable characters plus sports-themed setups: inflatable rock walls, basketball hoops, and more. It’s perfect for active kids who love a little friendly competition 🏀 Final Notes Sessions are divided by age and last 3 hours—and that’s more than enough time for your kids to burn off energy! The only waits you’ll likely face are 5-10 minutes for “The Giant” and a giant slide; all other zones are mostly queue-free. By the end, your little ones will be tired (in the best way!) 😊 #bigbounce #WeekendWhereabouts #TodayHappiness #DailyVlog #Oregon #Portland #PortlandFamilyFun #PortlandWeekend
