Portland Sichuan Food Lovers Rejoice! šŸŒ¶ļø

I was just popping into the nearby Safeway to buy a bottle of soy sauce, but when I wandered over to the adjacent Murrayhill Marketplace, I suddenly spotted a warm-lit "Chinese Cuisine" sign—stepping closer, I froze in surprise 😱! It’s actually Chaotianmen, the Sichuan restaurant I used to fight for a table at in downtown Portland! This spot has always been my "Portland Sichuan Food Ceiling" (top-tier Sichuan eatery), and I still crave the Spicy Blood Curd Hot Pot (Maoxuewang) I had there before. Never did I expect it to open right near my home—happiness level 100%! I hurried in to ask the owner, and learned they’re having a soft opening now, with the grand opening this Wednesday (this week). Besides classic dishes like Maoxuewang and Boiled Spicy Fish, the menu has added tons of new items—Garlic Ribs, Sichuan Pepper Chicken, Spicy Shrimp… every dish hits my taste buds. Just looking at the menu made me salivate. The owner said, "Regulars get a sneak peek first, and there’ll be small perks for the grand opening." I wanted to order Maoxuewang on the spot, but since I didn’t bring my family, I held back—decided to bring everyone for a big feast on opening day! The best part is how easy it is to find: Walk into Murrayhill Marketplace, and it’s right in front of the central fountain—no need to wander around the mall. You can’t find it on maps yet (it’ll update after the grand opening) , but just remember the address: "14625 SW Teal Blvd, Beaverton"—follow navigation to the mall, and you’ll see it at a glance. It’s only a 10-minute drive from my home; now I don’t have to sit in traffic to downtown for Sichuan food anymore. I can grab a meal on my way home from work—just thinking about it makes me happy! I still remember the deliciousness of Chaotianmen’s Maoxuewang in downtown: The duck blood is so tender it trembles when you pick it up, the spam soaks up the chili oil without being greasy, and it’s piled high with bean sprouts, spam, and tripe. The soup base is numbing, spicy, and savory—even dipping rice in the soup makes me finish two bowls. I asked if the new store’s flavor would be the same, and the owner patted his chest: "The chefs are the same team—taste won’t change a bit!" Now I’m even more excited! To all Sichuan food lovers in Portland—friends in Beaverton, this is your lucky break! Rush over on Wednesday for the grand opening, let’s go enjoy Maoxuewang togetherļ½ž šŸ“ Store Name: Sichuan Bistro (Chaotianmen) šŸ“ Address: 14625 SW Teal Blvd, Beaverton, OR 97007 #Portland #PortlandEats #PortlandSichuanFood #BeavertonEats #ChaotianmenSichuan
