Portland Sterling Coffee Visit

Portland is known as the “coffee capital,” but with a tight schedule, we only had time to visit Sterling Coffee near our hotel. I ordered a standard latte, and with one sip—wow—the fermentation hit me like a wave to the brain! It felt like a high-tech experiment in coffee form 🤯. It’s not that I dislike innovative flavors, but this cup was a bit too “loaded with tech”… The boozy notes were strong, almost overpowering the natural sweetness, with a slightly astringent aftertaste (Is it okay to say this? After all, many people seem to love it 😆). In a hurry, I quickly grabbed two bags of beans: one from Brazil and one from Rwanda. I’ll share my thoughts after trying them later! Hopefully, they’ll offer a more balanced experience 🙏. Overall, Sterling’s latte might be better suited for those who enjoy intense fermentation and bold flavor adventures. If you prefer traditional coffee tastes, you might want to think twice~ But coffee is subjective, and the unpredictability of trying new shops is part of the fun! ✨ #CoffeeShopExplore #PortlandCoffee #SterlingCoffee #TooFermented #CoffeeDiary #FlavorChallenge #BeansToTryAtHome
